Located at 562 Broad St, Newark, NJ 07102, BulgogiZip operates as a korean bbq serving Newark in New Jersey. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Newark, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New Jersey run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Newark is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Newark peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I got the "K-Pop Chicken" with fries. The chicken was very tough; chewy texture. The fries are akin to the kind of fries that you would receive from a generic "Kentucky/Crown Fried Chicken" joint. Bland; baseline. I had a very unprofessional moment happen when ordering my food in-store as well. I'm a relatively fit woman; I am very aware of this. As I'm ordering my food, I hear chatter in the back of the house by a few workers about my appearance indirectly. I spoke up and called them out on it politely. This lead to a pin-drop silence and resuming of their work. That incident should have never happened in the first place. Very unprofessional and immature. I only gave a two for service, because the only pro is that the place is clean. I would not return.

fried chicken was terrible... over cooked, very tough- literally not edible. fried dumplings πŸ₯Ÿ were previously frozen. better off going to Chicken & Biscuit on broad street for chicken nuggets. idk- maybe their Japchae is better? ..doubtful.

Today I have a lunch in restaurant. I placed an order of chicken wing with soy sauce based. Its taste is fantastic, little soy sauce burned smell and salty and sweet. It makes harmony. Asiantic small from burned soy sauced and crunchy skin, salty and sweet meat. It is art. But Room has no air conditioner.

This place had a weird vibe. It's kinda authentic, but not authentic and actually it smelled a little funny in there. The cashier's vibe was a little weird too just almost like he knew but didn't know what he was doing. The food is very basic at best I won't be back. It's not bad. It's just very basic and doesn't taste that fresh or authentic. I had a gift card so I'm guuuud. Yikes

Recently ordered through Uber eats. Absolutely awful experience. - The kimchi pancakes tasted rancid to our entire party and the portion was surprisingly small. - The rice cake dish that arrived was mostly liquid (very watered down) and came with very little rice cakes, with terrible taste and consistency (very mushy, not chewy). - The tofu stew arrived half full, tasted watered down, and was missing the ramen I had ordered to go with it. - To add insult to injury, it was also much more expensive than our regular Korean food spots, but we wanted to branch out. - every single dish was too cold and needed to be heated. This obviously ruins some of the food like the chicken and the pancakes I genuinely am left to wonder if they sent us leftover food, diluted with water, from a customer who dined in their restaurant? They then did not respond to any of our phone calls to try to remediate the issue. Would recommend avoiding this place.
